NHMF frameworx has attracted significant attention since the official launch at the Housing 2022 conference in Manchester with the roll out of the first tranches of PIN notices. Established in association with the National Housing Maintenance Forum – members of which represents more than 80% of the UK’s registered providers of social housing – our not-for-profit organisation offers a competitive maximum fee of 1.5%, an established and engaged supply chain, and investment in initiatives including social value, training and benchmarking.
NHMF frameworx Director, David Miller comments: “Our aim in establishing frameworx was to offer greater choice and better value for social housing providers and contractors. The feedback we’ve had so far, and the interest in the PINs issued to date have fully endorsed this approach. The influx of registered interest in new framework contracts for Consultancy Services, Vehicle Leasing, and Materials Supply has been impressive, even at this early stage. Today we issued Tranches 4 and 5 PIN notices for Response & Voids Works, and Planned Works contracts, including Whole House Refurbishments, Net Zero carbon works, kitchens, bathrooms and electrical works.
“Even at this early stage, it’s clear we’re delivering on our tagline, Connect With The Best, and are in a position to offer social housing landlords the absolute best choice of experienced, pre-qualified and innovative supplier partners who are all committed to delivering better homes and communities. frameworx also gives peace of mind as it is backed with the credibility and expertise of the NHMF and supported by the M3NHF Schedule of Rates.
“Against a backdrop of ever-rising procurement costs, we offer efficiencies and economies of scale, through both traditional framework approaches and Dynamic Purchasing Systems. For suppliers who make it onto the framework, the benefits are also clear: a competitive maximum fee of 1.5% and the opportunity to get involved in both cascaded contract awards, but also direct awards too – more to follow on this. For now, we are absolutely delighted with the first few months since launch and excited about our new innovative approach that will bring significant benefits for everyone.”
