Keegans, working closely with our sister company ECD Architects, have over 30 years’ experience in designing sustainable buildings and retrofit on a wide range of building types from high-rise residential blocks to non-traditional low-rise homes.

Since the introduction of PAS 2035 we have invested in a team of 25 qualified Retrofit Coordinators, Retrofit Assessors, Retrofit Designers and Evaluators and have delivered retrofit services to over 3700 homes across the UK from Hull, Durham and Gateshead to Milton Keynes, Midlands, Brentwood, Crawley and Folkestone.

Our retrofit team work alongside our M&E retrofit specialists and Cost Consultants who all have experience working on retrofit projects, producing cost benefit analysis and lifecycle costings which include carbon cost effectiveness per retrofit measure to best determine the most suitable retrofit options for the client’s budget.

All our Assessors and Co-ordinators have trained through Elmhurst and are TrustMark registered. we were shortlisted by Retrofit Academy Awards for Best Retrofit Employer Award and Retrofit Assessment and Coordination Services.

We have an active social value programme and a dedicated CSR team to lead and deliver our social value commitments. We establish close links with local charities, schools and VCSE’s and have an active work experience programme supporting young people into a career in the construction industry, sponsorship of local events, pro bono work, volunteering programme, charity fund raising events, a health & wellbeing programme and sustainability operating measures.
