Our roster of clients is predominantly social housing landlords and local authorities, and we employ one of the largest directly employed workforces in the region. Having our own DLO means we can guarantee high quality work, and excellent customer care, with our operatives always taking direct responsibility for the work they produce.
We also believe in training and upskilling our staff and believe in investing in our people to provide genuine career development, resulting in a low staff turnover. Around 10% of our staff are in formal training programmes. We’re passionate about developing a diverse workforce, with 50% of our apprenticeship opportunities allocated to female applicants.
We’re also committed to the places where we work, carrying out extensive programmes of community investment, from donations to volunteering, to creation of legacy projects. Our staff are Dementia Friends, Safeguarding and Domestic Abuse trained, mould and damp aware and trained to never walk on by if they see something wrong.
